GENERAL INFORMATION
The boat can accommodate a maximum of 6 adults or 5 adults and 2 children. The tour duration is 4-5 hours, depending on the weather, water level and time spent on Tipplers Island.
Sunscreen, water and soft drinks are provided. Please bring a beach towel.
BOOKING POLICY
The full price of the tour must be paid by bank transfer or card at the time of booking. Your booking will be accepted in good faith. Once we receive the booking fee, this date and time will be reserved exclusively for you and we will begin to reject further booking requests.
TRAVEL TERMS & CONDITIONS
The tour route and time may vary depending on the weather conditions on the day of travel.
CANCELLATION POLICY
50% refund for cancellations made 48 hours prior to departure. No refund for cancellations made within 48 hours prior to departure.
LEGAL NOTICE
Participation in the terms and conditions of private boat charter with Msb Pty Ltd (Mad Max Boat Tours) involves certain risks. The boat charter terms and conditions must be completed by the person chartering the boat.
TRANSPORT POLICY
Once the booking is confirmed and payment has been received, the trip will be confirmed. The tour starts and ends at the Pelikan Beach boat ramp on the Gold Coast.
SECURITY CAPABILITIES AND BANK CARD DATA TRANSFER POLICY, CREDIT CARD PAYMENT
All online transactions are processed on a secure payment site. Msb pty Ltd. does not handle credit card details.
All transactions are in Australian Dollars (AUD).
WEATHER POLICY:
Although the Gold Coast has 300 days of sunshine, weather conditions can change the schedule.
Please note that our weather forecast is based on local observations and radar images valid on the day of the tour. We do not use weather forecasts (TV weather reports, BOM, etc.) as these are rarely accurate and do not apply to our operating area. In certain weather conditions, it can be difficult to predict the amount of precipitation for a given 4 hour period.
We reserve the right to:
Cancel the tour the day before departure, in which case we will offer the option to reschedule.
On the day of departure, we will postpone the departure time by up to 2 hours to allow for rain to stop.
Even if the weather is overcast or cloudy, or there is a chance of a temporary shower, we still expect the trip to proceed as planned, as we have already booked the day for you and have likely declined your other bookings.
ALCOHOL, HEALTH AND HOSPITALITY
You must be clean and sober on the tour, otherwise the tour guide may cancel the tour without refund.
While we want everyone to have a good time on board, the rules of the sea must be followed at all times for the safety of our passengers.
• Passengers must embark and disembark in an orderly manner, with consideration for neighboring businesses, communities and the general public.
• Everyone must obey the instructions of the captain or any member of the ship's crew.
• We reserve the right to refuse entry, cancel the tour and/or remove anyone who is intoxicated or abusive at any time without refund.
• Alcohol is prohibited for minors.
• Alcoholic beverages are only permitted in pre-mixed cans (bottled spirits and red wine are not permitted on board).
• Smoking is prohibited on the boat.
• Jumping off the boat while underway is a violation and will result in immediate suspension of the charter and referral of the offender to the water police.
• All trash must remain on board (no trash thrown into the water).
• Opened alcoholic bottles must not be taken off the boat.
• We reserve the right to disembark at alternative piers if any of our guests show signs of intoxication or behave in an offensive manner, as this is a violation of our pier rental agreement.
BOAT CARE AND SAFETY
The boat is carefully maintained and is for your enjoyment! Please take care of our boats for your own safety and enjoyment and for the safety of our future guests.
Our cruises are family-friendly, however, children should be supervised at all times.
Pets are a consideration. Please advise in advance when booking if you have such a need.
